NORTHWEST ASSOCIATION FOR PERFORMING ARTS (NWAPA)
"The Northwest Association for Performing Arts (NWAPA) offers a competitive outlet during the fall and winter for marching band, color guard, indoor marching percussion and concert percussion units. The NWAPA has two main seasons. The first is the marching band season which begins at the end of September and concludes at the beginning of November with the NWAPA Marching Band Championships. The second is the winter percussion and color guard season that begins in February and concludes at the end of March with the NWAPA Winter Championships." visit the site 
OREGON MUSIC EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION (OMEA) "Comprised of approximately 900 members, the majority of our members teach in K-12 schools, colleges and universities." visit the site
DRUM CORPS INTERNATIONAL (DCI) "From modest beginnings more than three decades ago, Drum Corps International (DCI) has developed into a powerful, nonprofit, global youth activity with far-reaching artistic, educational and organizational influence. Through the annual DCI Tour and more than 35 World Championships in 17 North American cities, Drum Corps International provides entertainment to millions through live performances and nationally-televised events. WINTERGUARD INTERNATIONAL (WGI) "Winter Guard International (WGI) is known as the “Sport of the Arts.” It brings music to life through performance in a competitive format. WGI is the nonprofit youth organization leading the winter guard and indoor percussion activities. Now entering its 32nd year, the sport is evolving and growing, with over 11,000 participants at the Sport of the Arts World Championships this past April." visit the site
