BEAVERTON CELEBRATION PARADE SEPT. 13
The Westview band will again participate
in the annual Beaverton parade on Saturday Sept. 13. The
parade begins at 10 am and covers a 1.7-mile route.

BAND REGISTRATION.
Any students that did not turn
in registration forms at last week's registration days should turn in forms
ASAP. The following forms should be completed and placed in the black
box in the band room:
* Completed Band Registration Form
* Completed Parent Volunteer Form
* Completed BSD Activity Permission Form
* Completed BSD Transportation and Release Form
All
of these forms were in the packet mailed to band families in late June.
Additional copies can be downloaded through the link at the left.
Participation fees are also due. A check for the invoiced amount should
be turned into the black box. Anyone unable to pay the full
amount at this time should make a partial payment and contact treasurer
Brett Carn (503-690-3422) to arrange a payment plan for the balance.
UPDATED PARENT GROUP BY-LAWS TO BE VOTED ON SEPTEMBER
16.
Updates and revision to the by-laws for Westview
Band & Auxiliary Parents, Inc. have been proposed. A vote to approve
the new by-laws will occur at the September parent meeting.
