Decision-makers must hear the facts about music education, and they must hear them from you…
- Music education must begin in Kindergarten and be continuous throughout 12th grade to be effective.
- Music education must be affordable to families.
- Music education classes must be taught by licensed music educators and must take place during the school day to reach all students.
- Music education completes a student’s social and individual development.
- Quality music education programs are a direct reflection of a community’s values and expectations for its young people.
